Hello and welcome to my fifth post here will be my thoughts and ideas on a new discovery done on 3D printing. MIT or Massachusetts Institute of Technology has found out how to print liquids but not only that they are capable of printing liquids while also printing solids.
CSAIL director Daniela Rus has said "We have a 3D printer that can lay out either solids or liquids, and then we have an algorithm that decides when the printer should put down a water droplet or solid droplet. This allows us to create objects that were not possible to create before".I find that this new technology will allow us to expand our knowledge and capabilities on a major scale. It simply amazes me how people are able to invent such amazing things and improve them by so much. I find 3D printing my be the new way of manufacturing anything for example cars we would now be able to fill the car with all the necessary fluids and print the rest in solid.
In this video it shows the process of which the robot is printed and the video also mentions that not only does it print all the pieces but you also don't need to assemble anything! All you need is a motor and battery. That blows my mind thinking we have gotten to a point where we are capable of printing a whole robot with a click of a button. I really do hope in the future we are capable of even printing the batteries and motors so we could automate production rates on a way bigger scale too like printing out a car you can get in and drive away directly after printing but I also do look forward to writing another blog cause this one seems to be coming to an end :( thank you for reading !

Hey Brian, I didn't know that the technology of 3D printing has come so far. I only thought they could print car parts but clearly I wrong. I find that its really interesting that you're sharing this information with us because honestly it's just really cool and amazing! I can't wait to see what you'll tell us next!
